ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Fabric, the hum of a sewing machine, and the slice of a good pair of shears. These are the things I remember clearly from my childhood. I grew up with a seamstress mother and watched her explore the craft from birth. This led me to finding the world of fashion and sewing for myself at around 10 years old, though not from a conventional sense.
You see, I grew up surrounded by medieval recreation and that thoroughly inspired my craft and my style. I was raised in Renaissance Faires and the Society for Creative Anachronism, which is where I learned much of my early knowledge of sewing and design. Later, in my teens, I fell in love with alternative fashion and the darker edge it had but I still loved all the historical fashions I had learned to make. This is what led me to design, I knew I couldn’t be the only person who loved alternative fashion and history and I wanted to make it available.
Through all of this I fell in love with creating a character, whether that be a consumer who dresses for their own daily adventure or a fictional world that shares their adventure with others.
